Ferndale Project is the experimental arm of Eastern Market Brewing Co. and Elephant & Co. Since opening in 2020, the Ferndale community has given incredible support and valuable feedback, helping us fine-tune what works best and what doesn’t.

We’ve introducing A/B testing of our beer and food. Our products will be released in pairs, and customers can vote for their favorites. This hands-on feedback is essential to shaping our growth.

The feedback we collect from you, our community, will be analyzed and used to adjust future recipes. Whether we're tweaking a current offering or creating something completely new, your input will be the driving force behind our decision-making.

The refined recipes based on your feedback, they’ll be scaled for broader release. Thanks to your contributions, your favorite experiments will be distributed through Eastern Market Brewing Co. and in our Elephant & Co. locations.

PRESEASON PROJECT

Baseball’s not the only thing getting warmed up for the season—we’ve got a new A/B beer test on deck. Introducing Preseason Project, where two fruited wheat ales go head-to-head to help us pick the next flavor of EMBC Umbrella Weather.

It’s Grapefruit vs. Prickly Pear, a battle straight out of baseball’s Grapefruit League (Florida) and Cactus League (Arizona). Will the tart, citrusy punch of grapefruit take the win, or will the smooth, subtly sweet prickly pear steal the show?

Try both, cast your vote, and help us pick the real MVP.
